The Museums and Monuments of Portugal, E.P.E. (MMP) is committed to handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council, of April 27, 2016), the respective national implementing law (Law No. 58/2019, of August 8) and other applicable legislation, ensuring privacy, data protection and information security. 

Striving to protect and respect your privacy, the present Privacy Policy explicitly states when and why we collect personal information about those who visit our website, how we use this information, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others, and how we keep it secure.

Only the necessary data for justified contacts is collected and stored by the MMP.

Personal data is used exclusively for sending information relating to the purposes for which it is used, and under no circumstances is it supplied to other entities, beyond the legal exceptions.

Personal data is kept in our database only for as long as the relationship with its holders lasts, apart from the possibility of retaining it under the terms of section j) of paragraph 2 of article 9 and of article 89, both of the GDPR, and/or as long as the MMP is under such obligation by legal or fiscal requirements.

Data holders have the right to access, update, correct or delete their personal information, or to choose not to receive communications from the MMP.
